It only makes sense that by the time I actually get around to purchasing the Naked 2 palette by Urban Decay that they would come out with a Naked 3. I am SUCH a fan of the original Naked palette that I didn’t see the use in getting the 2nd until I was really ready to experience more colors that were essentially the sister of the one I loved so dearly. So I got a few other brands in the mean time, but when the Sephora VIB Sale came around this year, I decided to go for it!
The colors are swatched in the order of the palette. A few of my favorites from the first half of the palette are Chopper and Snakebite. From the second half, I am loving Verve and Busted. Just check out all the swatches and pics. I am sure I will start wearing some of these colors in my photos, so look forward to some Face/Makeup of the Day featuring this palette.
One question I get all the time regarding this palette is: “Is it worth it to have both?” or “Which one should I get?”
The answer isn’t all that easy. I think the original Naked palette is better for daily use, but I like warmer, more shimmery colors. Naked 2 is much cooler, but it has some easy to wear shadows for daily use, some good highlighting colors, and that super intense black to take a look from day to night in seconds. It honestly depends on your own personal preference. I don’t think you NEED BOTH. But I obviously see value in both palettes.
The shadows are super pigmented. All of them are smooth and pretty. If you want VALUE for a palette, look no further than the Naked Palettes.
I should also mention this brush! It’s double ended, so it has a shadow brush and a blending brush. It’s really good! So the palette is almost worth it for just the brush alone, in my opinion!
