New You in 2014: Keep Your Plans Organized

In the last few months of the year I took to keeping my plans and bills organized. I find that it’s really easy to do and it keeps me accountable to myself. I’m the kind of person to write things down on a calendar or planner AND put it into my phone’s calendar.

This year, one of my resolutions was to get my finances into check, so I am using a finance planner. I wanted to become more involved and regular with this blog, so I got a blog planner. I also got a meal planner since I live a low cal lifestyle. You can find a planner online for just about anything you need to plan.

Here are some ways to keep your plans organized this year:

1. Buy a planner. You can find planners everywhere. Daily or weekly or monthly, whatever your need, you will be able to find on the shelves of Target or Walmart. You can find prettier ones online or at specialty stores. I really love this one by Kate Spade.

2. Use Your Phone. I use my phone to tell me due dates of my bills. It helps because I always have my phone, but there are days I don’t look at my calendar. I would HATE to be late on a bill, so it’s nice to have the alert to remind me. It can alert you on a reoccurring schedule as well, so you don’t have to set it every single month.

3. Etsy for the win! I just got my planners from Etsy. I purchased all of mine from this shop. She had mommy calendars, finance, meal planners, blog planners, wedding planners, student planners…ALL THE PLANNERS. You can get 20% off of $20+ just by using the promo code “20percent” too! I can give you a closer look at them once I get them all together. Maybe a quick video or something. If you look hard, you can find some online for free too. But I liked the look of hers a lot, so I just bought them!

Hope these are easy ideas. It’s what helps me, but I have a flawed system, I’m sure! What do you use to keep your plans organized?
