Glamglow Powermud Dualcleanse Treatment

What I liked:

  • The scent: This product smells of apples! It’s probably one of the strangest scented masks I have ever used, but it was good!
  • The packaging: This is the same, pretty Glamglow packaging we are used to. I personally like the packaging GG uses. It looks pretty enough to make you feel like spending a fortune on a face mask is justified. ;)

What I didn’t like:

  • The texture: This mask isn’t as grainy as the regular mud masks by Glamglow (Tingling & Supermud.) It feels more like the Thirstymud hydrating treatment. I just wasn’t impressed with the texture or the way it feels on my face.
  • The results: I really just felt like I washed my face. I didn’t feel any extra benefits. It didn’t “purify” or “cleanse” like the product suggests you will, and the “oil treatment” was a bit of a joke. I left my eye makeup on to see if it would cleanse like a regular oil cleanser and it didn’t do a great job AT ALL.
  • The price: It’s $69.00 like all the other Glamglow products. Personally, I think the Supermud GG is FULLY worth the price, but this one…not so much.

Conclusion:

I’m not a fan at all. The other Glamglow masks/treatments (sans the eye mask which I will be trying soon) are pretty good despite the price. This one is my least favorite. I feel like I wouldn’t buy it myself if it were available for $6.99 at the drug store. I hate to be so harsh, but I really felt like I have gotten a better, more clean feeling from a regular face wash. Stick to the other GG masks! (Or at least get a sample before you purchase this for yourself.) I did love the scent and was almost sold on the smell alone, so I am REALLY happy I didn’t just purchase at first sniff.
