The Righteous Butter by Soap & Glory

Every time I go to Sephora, I hold the Soap & Glory products and think about purchasing them and then just never do. Even though I ALWAYS want them sooo badly!!!

So a few weekends ago, I went to a Cincinnati Reds vs Cleveland Indians game on a double date and got burnt to a crisp. The sun was CRAZY and even though I applied sunscreen and we were only in the sun directly for about 3.5 hours, I got a pretty bad burn. So what is worse than a sunburn? Your skin peeling like crazy afterward!

I started using some Banana Boat with aloe lotion…that was nothing and I discontinued the use almost as quickly as I began. I was using some Korres Body Butter and just realized that while it works great for normal, dry skin, it wasn’t working well with my flaky skin. I then began using Kisses by Australian Gold and it smelled heavenly! I thought it was working well…but I am not convinced it was hydrating enough…although it was doing a great job.

So if this all isn’t confusing enough, I ran out of the sample of Kisses and one of my small bottles of Korres while I was at the mall. I decided to stop into Sephora and by golly, I actually purchased the (small) container of The Righteous Butter by Soap & Glory. I’m obsessed now. The scent is so pretty and fragrant that you don’t even need perfume when you have the lotion on. Also, it’s VERY moisturizing and my dry skin is practically non-existent.

I think this product is worth every bit of hype it receives and I will definitely be re-purchasing the full size of this product on my next trip to Sephora! (And probably a few other products by Soap & Glory!)
