Just when you guys didn’t think I could review or show you any more lip stuff, here comes more! (And I have a ton more to show you soon as well!) At the same time I saw the Maybelline Elixirs, I saw these ColorBurst Balms in Matte and Lacquer.

In the Matte Balm, I got the color Elusive. I thought it was a pretty color and was something I could wear daily. On my lips, it does show up a bit more of a poppy pink than I thought it would, but it’s very pretty. It applies beautifully and doesn’t tug at my lips like some matte products tend to do.

I got the color Coquette in the Lacquer Balm. It is a brighter pink and includes some sparkle. It’s a hot pink color and looks similar to a gloss when applied. It was very easy to apply as well, but it seems a bit too sparkly for my personal taste. It also seems more like something I would wear in the spring/summer as well.

I want to try more of these, especially the matte ones. I have heard that the reds are really great, so if you are looking for a matte red, why not give this line a try?! They retail for between $7-10 at drugstores and Ulta.
