So, I guess my outfit isn’t the TOTAL focus of this post. I really just wanted to talk a ton about my new hair. Here are the details of my outfit, since it’s still super cute. It was great for work, but it would be lovely for a date night or brunch with friends as well.

Plus Size Outfit of the Day / OOTD:
Shirt- K-Mart (LYS brand)
Skirt- Forever 21+
Shoes- Lower East Side (Always & forever.)
Watch- Rose Gold Marc Jacobs

On to my new hair do! I know I showed it in my last OOTD, but I hadn’t colored it yet, so I thought I would share it again. I had it cut by Jackie at Salon 6 in Broadripple, near Indianapolis, IN. I have gone to this salon for about 4 years now, but Jackie had never cut it before. She was really cool and nice and listened to what I was telling her I wanted with my hair.

Now the blonde “ombre” I did myself. Yes, you heard me. I went to Sally’s and bought a “hair lightener” or bleach, and took to my own locks. I have always had a really good eye when it comes to hair. I usually trim my own, I can style it myself, and I have done my own ombre a few times before. (See my old ‘do in the photos above.)

THIS, however, was my first time with short hair, which I felt was more daring. You know, since I can’t just chop it off where it starts to look wonky.  Luckily, it turned out beautifully, and I feel like a new woman! I’ve had people tell me it really suits my “other side” or my fashion-forward and sassy side.
