#Nordy Girl
I get the question “Why do your links go to Nordstrom so often?” a lot when people are speaking of my blog. Of course, I am affiliate for Nordstrom, but I don’t take being an affiliate lightly. I would not align myself with a company that I have not tried and tested and love for myself! (Much different from sampling products from companies, my affiliate relationships are carefully selected and reputable.)
I thought I would answer this question in the form of a nice list, because who doesn’t love a good list, right?! Just so you know, this post isn’t sponsored. Here is my one link to Nordstrom. Know that if you buy anything from there within the 12 hours after clicking on that link…I might get a dollar or two in spiffs. But I am not loading this with Nordy links for the fun of it. I simply want to let you know why I love Nordstrom so dang much.

- Free Shipping! Not just on orders over $XX. It’s free shipping all the time. Even if you order a $3 pair of socks….free shipping.
- Clean, easy site navigation! It’s got a simple design, easy to sort through sections, and is all around pleasing to the eye. Whether you are just browsing or you have something specific in mind, you can easily get to where you need to go- no fuss.
- Return Policy! Their returns spoil everyone who is blessed to return to them. I have heard stories of people taking back shoes they had for years because a buckle or heel broke. Nordstrom takes the return with no questions asked.
- Beauty Section! Of course, I would put this in my top list. The Nordstrom beauty section is amazing to shop in store because of all the experts that help you, the samples given on like, ANYTHING you want, and just for the experience. The online beauty store is awesome because of a wider selection and periodic sales.
- Price Matching!!!! If you shop beauty products online especially, you will come across a lovely “We’re price matching” sign quite often. They chop off 10% when they find that a competitor has it cheaper. But hey, that’s 10% off when you would usually spend full price anyway…it’s amazing that they do that. Easily one of my favorite things EVER.
- Obtainable Luxuries! Everyone likes to feel like they are being spoiled, and you can do that at Nordstrom. They offer luxury brands that range from Coach to Prada- so you can have “luxury” at every income.
- Variety! Nordstrom offers clothes, shoes, bags, accessories, tech gear, kids, men’s, gadgets, and more! It’s a great one-stop-shop for Christmas time because of that. I know I did a TON of my Christmas shopping at Nordstrom this year, and I will continue to do so until I can’t shop any longer.
- Nordstrom Rack! This is where all the clearance clothes, bags, and accessories go to gain a new life. I love Nordstrom Rack! They usually have 3-4 racks of plus size clothes too, so you can find some awesome deals in every size!
- Hautelook! The craze with online “boutique” style stores that offer large discounts for small amounts of products really took off a few years ago. Now, only a few still hold strong- Hautelook is one of them. They are a Nordstrom store and you can even combine your cart on Hautelook with Nordstrom Rack online purchases. It’s one of my favorite stores to shop online.
- Customer Service! I have never gone into a Nordstrom and felt like I wasn’t going to get the help I needed. They always carry a pretty full, knowledgeable staff (especially in their full stores, but their Rack stores are pretty well staffed for a discount store!) They always help when they can and offer to call other stores or order online for you. It’s a good things to deal with good people. It makes the shopping experience much, much better.
