As promised, I am happy to share some of the things I picked up from the phenomenon that was #lillyfortarget. I was only able to purchase one of the four pieces I’m showing you online from Target, one was in person the morning of the launch, and the other two were purchased from a few ladies who had them posted for sale.
I have seen some craziness in pricing, but I have sold a few things with just shipping added and I know I got some pretty great deals with the things I purchased as well.
There has also been a lot of drama surrounding Target and their choice to only sell plus sizes online. You know, it does suck for me, but I guess it’s their choice. The awesome thing was that they sold plus sizes at all, because so many places just disregard the extended sizes for reasons I will never understand. I think the disgust really should be pointed at Lilly Pulitzer themselves! They don’t offer plus sizes (even though they used to,) so this really was the “only chance” for us bigger gals to get Lilly things.
Looking back, I could have boycotted or something, but the stuff was just TOO CUTE and so inexpensive…so here it is! This is my first lookbook (of many, I’m sure.) Brett was so lovely in filming it for me! Check out the video, and get the outfit details below.
