Can we all just agree that baseball is the best sport? No matter what teams are playing, if the option of a baseball game comes up, 9 times out of 10, I am going to the game. It’s something about the stadium, the cheering, the dudes in tight pants, the overwhelming sense of being American- baseball is where it’s at, and quite frankly, the best part of summer!

Now, I’ve done my fair share of “team hopping.” Whether it be the Twins, Yankees, and (cough) the Indians….I know I have one thing in common during rooting for any of these teams. I just despise the Cubs! So no matter which team I decide to cheer for, you can just bet it will NOT be the Cubs. (And most times it will be the Yankees, let’s be honest.)

Over the weekend, I took my first trip to Progressive Field in Cleveland with my husband and family. It was the Indians vs. the Yankees, and boy did my husband’s family not want me to root for the Yankees! I thought it would be fun to go and support the home team, even though my heart totally lies with the Yankees. I had a great time, ate some DELICIOUS ice cream, and the Yankees won (*Cue silent celebration, but don’t tell my sister in law!*)
