Do you ever see any of your girlfriends around the holidays and think they just seem too relaxed? NO! That’s never the case! Between holiday parties, Christmas shopping, and all the other things that happen around the holidays, who has time to stop and pamper themselves? Force your friends to take a break and have you holiday celebration with them at the same time- kill two birds with one stone, if you will! You can host a Pamper Night!
I’ve whipped up some awesome masks with one sweet, sweet treat in common for each of them! You can find all the products to use in your kitchen, but the main ingredient is none other than HONEY! Honey is a natural antibacterial, it fights wrinkles, acne, and includes antioxidents…plus it moisturizes. It’s perfect to include in homemade masks, so I have 6 of them that you can whip up easily for your Pamper Night.
As far as ingredients go, they are simple. In order to make any of the six masks, you will only need 9 ingredients. Now, you can use any brand of all the ingredients, but I recommend using Don Victor Honey.
You can find Don Victor Honey at Walmart in the Mexican baking section. I like it because it’s raw and filtered, but not heated or processed. PLUS, it has the honey comb still in the jar. (You can eat the honey comb, by the way! You can just chew on it or put it on toast, but I like to cut off a piece and add it to my tea to add some sweetness.)
Check out the step by step tutorial for making each of the 6 masks featuring Don Victor Honey below. My personal favorite for this time of year is the Nourishing Honey & Pumpkin mask! Do you make any masks with honey that I haven’t included? If so, please share!
1. Exfoliating Mask: Used to scrub off dead skin and smooth/resurface skin
2. Acne Fighting Mask: Used to clear and tighten skin
3. Moisturizing Mask: Pumps moisture into the skin to fight dryness
4. Nourishing Mask: Helps to replenish dull or dry skin
5. Lip Exfoliate: Sloths off dead skin on the lips and smooths them
6. Conditioning Hair Mask: Helps to soften hair, relieve dryness, and add shine
What are you waiting for?! Invite your girlfriends over for this weekend to get them relaxed and ready to tackle the holidays. You can even package some of these up for your friends who can’t make it and give them a little DIY pampering treat to try out when they have a moment of alone time.
Let me know if you are able to try any of these out! I’d love to hear how you stop to pamper yourself with these sweet honey masks!
These are all great mask ideas! I am loving the one with oats! #client
