I’m a happy brunette blogger, and PROUD of it! Sure, I’ve dabbled in blonde. Sometimes I’d gone more blonde than I ever thought I would, but the brunette world is where it’s at! We may not have “more fun” but we have a stereotype of being SMART, so who can really compete with that anyway?!
Again, if you know me, you will know that I take to my own hair with BLEACH to create my signature ombre/balayage look. Besides the fact that it’s time-consuming and permanent, the damage is hard to deal with. The ends of my hair would end up being fried or just generally unhealthy looking. It’s a whole production, people, and I am getting sick of it!
When I made the decision to go back to my short hair (inspiration a la Khloe Kardashian,) I also decided to chop off the blonde and try life without it. My hair is now 99% natural, with only small bits at the bottom still balayaged a teeny, tiny bit that will come off with my next trim. I forgot how much I love my brunette head sans the bleach!
The only thing that I can really say I have a beef with is the fact that my natural hair can get sort of dull or bland.
