Here in Indiana, we have expected May flowers, and all we’ve received is MAYjor let down. It’s been SO COLD! I went to an Ellie Goulding concert on Friday, and I was literally bundled up in 3+ blankets, and still freezing my arse off. If that’s not enough, all my summery dresses have to be paired with a jacket. I’m not sure why I’m complaining. I love a good jacket, but this is INSANE, guys! I especially love this pairing of a khaki, military style jacket with a palm leaf style summery dress. I referred to it as “Safari Chic” when I wore it first!

A few days (weeks) ago, I got to have a happy reunion with my gals, Ashley of fASHionatelyme.com,  and Kelli of bighairandfoodiefare.com. They are some of my very favorite bloggers, I can’t get enough of them, and it’s always nice to make new friends as an adult that you can totally be yourself around. I’m glad I’ve found it in these two.

We went to Hotel Tango Whiskey for some drinks in Fountain Square, then we went to Marrow for dinner. It was my first time at either of these places, and I can tell you this: they are some of the best places in Indianapolis, let alone Fountain Square! Every time I visit a new place in Ft. Square, I not only feel a bit more hip, but it makes me want to move to the area! So fun and fresh! Check out both of these places if you’re in the Indy area.
