‘Tis the season for everyone to get dressed up, go out, party it up, and have a gay old time. But here’s my truth. I am doing nothing. I am SO happy to be doing nothing, because I’m sure you all know by now- I am a chill, homebody. I can be happy sitting at home, writing, watching TV and budgeting. So this season, while everyone else is getting fancy and going out, I am sitting around being FANCY FOR NO REASON.

Literally, zero reason to be a fancypants. My Friendsgiving? Super chill. Family Christmases? Zero fancy-pants, unless you count my candy-cane striped PJs. New Year’s Eve? You guessed it. I’m going to my mom’s and playing cards and eating too much cheese. Probably won’t even get dressed to do it.

Sometimes you just want to get FANCY for no damn reason, and that’s okay to do. I wore this furry jacket to work at my bank one day and to lunch with a girlfriend, and I haven’t felt a need to be all dressed up since. If you have a need to be fancy, I highly recommend this coat. If you have NO need to be fancy, I still recommend! I also highly recommend these pointed chelsea boots. I think they are super chic and they were only $35! I think they feel like great quality despite the price tag. You can find some real gems in Forever 21, friends!
