Do you guys remember when I did a dressing room try on post a few months back? I went into Nordstrom and FELL IN LOVE with an Eileen Fisher jacket that I knew I would NEVER be able to have unless it somehow, magically was marked down 75%? (It was $900!) Don’t get TOO excited for me guys, I didn’t get the gorgeous blue suede moto jacket of my dreams, but I did come PRETTY close. I ended up grabbing a DUPE for it from OLD NAVY for only $60! Check out the side by side below!
Of course, the dressing room photo doesn’t do justice for lighting, but I can honestly say I love the Eileen Fisher version more, but for the same look and feel, I was able to get the Old Navy jacket for a FRACTION of the price, and it’s very comfortable and lovely as well!
When I put this outfit on, my friend told me, “You look like JCrew.” I was initially offended, as I can’t even FIT into most things at JCrew! She went on to explain that the outfit was classic with just enough trend, and I had to agree. I paired the jacket with a peplum black and white top (also from Old Navy,) dark blue denim from Torrid, and my leather Vince shoes. You can shop this look below! I’ve linked some exact items and some similar items for your shopping pleasure!
Have you found any good DUPE pieces for some of your favorite designer brands? I’d love to see what you’re lusting after. Leave me a comment below!
I’m lusting after a Michael Kors pink trench coat from Macy’s but $250 is out of my budget for a spring coat. I’m hoping to find a plus size dupe but I’m not optimistic.
